Tunisia!

We went on a two day trip down to the south of Tunisia and this photo was taken quite soon after our rude wake up call (3.45am!!) on the second day. We were taken to some salt lakes to see the sunrise - unfortunately it was too misty and we couldn't even see it! Bloody typical!

This photo is of a village situated above a beautiful mountain oasis. The village was ruined by a flood and, according to our guide, is considered very unlucky (now there's a surprise!). Andrew interestingly informed me that some of Raiders of the Lost Ark was filmed here... Fascinating!
