Engagement party...

We had such a lovely time last night - thank you everyone who came to sink a few and celebrate with us! It was so good to see everyone although it seemed to fly by way too quickly. Em and Dan were obviously greatly missed but it was good to chat to Em on the phone during the party - a really nice surprise!

Alex was clearly the star attraction of the night - he had far too much wine and disgraced himself thoroughly, but had a great time doing so!! He didn't quite go so far as swinging Sara round on the dancefloor like he did at my 21st but I don't think he was far off!! I shared a bed with him last night and his very loud giggling didn't stop until 3am - anyone who knows him will understand!

Andrew went off to play rugby at 10am this morning so I'm not sure what state he'll be in when he gets back, hopefully the fresh air will have got rid of his hangover! I've just got back from Gourmet Burger, where Alex, Cath and I scoffed until we nearly burst! It was very scrummy and just what we needed!

Caroline & Paul and Aunty Jo & Ian popped round for a cuppa this morning which was lovely as I didn't feel I'd managed to talk to them much last night, so it was really good to catch up before they headed back up north!

Anyway, thanks again everyone for coming, it was really nice to see you all!
